Ivars Knets

Ivars Knets (Latvian: Ivars Knēts, born: september 17, 1938, Riga, Latvian SSR) is a Rector and Professor at Riga Technical University, Director Institute of Biomaterials and Biomechanics. Corresponding Member Latvian Academy of Sciences. Academician Academia Scientiarum et Artium Europaea.^[1]

Biography

• 1961-1963 — Junior Research Associate, Riga Polytechnic Institute,

• 1969-1987 — Director, Research Laboratory of Biomechanics, Institute of Polymer Mechanics, Latvian Academy of Sciences,
